Drawing is the act of mark making where the artist makes marks on a surface. Drawing media can be wet or dry. Some types of media are pastels; chalk or oil, pan pastels, charcoal or conte, alcohol markers; copic markers and micron liners, paints and inks. There are endless materials to use for drawing. They are generally affordable, portable and easy to carry around. These qualities make them accessible and easy for beginners. I love to draw and have been drawing since I could hold a crayon. I find drawing relaxing. It really helps to calm me down. Time slips away and I get lost in the act of creation.
